Yes I know I haven't been on here in soooo long. I've been so busy and haven't had much time. Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial weekend, we did and I actually took that Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off so I had a real long weekend. It flew by fast thou!!. Had a great time did lots of cleaning on Wednesday and then some on Thursday (yeah I know allot of fun). I had mountains and mountains of laundry that was never ending. Friday spent the day running around, cleaning out my pond and adding some new fish. In the afternoon my daughter and I meet with Moni and her son Cole at the park. Had a blast love spending time with them, Moni and I are so much alike and I love it!! After that went home and did a few things then took Alonna to the duck pond and then went home we were pooped!!! Sunday we had a big cookout, Mike smoked ribs, chicken and a turkey early that morning and it was all ready around 4 so we had lots of food! Monday was a lazy day for me I sat around the house and watch TV, I knew I had to go back to work the next day so I was trying to be as lazy as I can be LOL!!!
Well Tuesday was catch up for work and Wednesday I had my yearly exam, I'm so bad I haven't had one since Alonna was born (3 years ago) cause my doctor moved out of state but I finally found a new doctor and I love her. The exam went fine even thou I hate getting them done. But we did talk about this large mass on my left thigh and she was worried about it, I told her I notice it more when I'm working out at the gym, I told the more the muscle developments I notice it sticks out more. I told her I think its fatty tissue stuck above the muscle. So she stepped out to call someone and I over heard her talking and describing my thigh and she said, "its a size of a grapefruit" I though it was going to fall off my chair. I didn't' think it was that big no wonder she was worried. So she scheduled me a MRI for later that evening (6:00pm) so had to go back to Village point and get the lovely MRI done.
So after the tech was done 7pm, I ask if it looked ok, and he said my opinion I think you were right its fatty tissue stuck which happens to allot of women, boy I was so relieved. So now I have to wait till my doctor and radiologist review it to make certain its that and then figure out what to do. So far it looks good YEAH!! I was stressing and had my husband stressing as well. So now back to work today and I have training most of the day. I hope everyone has a great Thursday and I can say I look forward to the weekend!!!

Unusual story of the day:

Man Dies 20 Years After Brutal Attack
Last Update: 5/19/2006 1:32:11 PM

United Press International

A Pennsylvania man has died of injuries he suffered in a beating 20 years ago.

Robert W. Bobby Fagan Jr. was a nurse heading to one of his patients in June 1986 when he was attacked, robbed and left for dead near the railroad tracks in Upper Darby, Pa., covered with newspaper.

No culprit has been found, police said.

The Delaware County Daily Times reports Fagan suffered severe head injuries and lived the rest of his life in and out of various rehabilitation and nursing homes. Fagan needed a wheelchair to get around and had trouble speaking and understanding who was around him.

Fagan died May 11, a day after his 46th birthday, at Prospect Park Nursing and Rehab from complications of his injury, the Daily Times said.

His family wants closure and those who killed Fagan to be caught and punished.

His father, Robert W. Fagan Sr., told the newspaper he didn't want his son suffering, adding: He lived the last 20 years trapped in his own body -- a living hell.

Police told the Daily Times finding a culprit isn't likely.

Article for the day:

The family of a Newfoundland man is overjoyed but looking for answers after he phoned during his own funeral to let them know he hadn't been killed in a Toronto commuter train accident after all.

Gilbert Squires of St. Philip's, Nfld., said he got a call on Sunday afternoon saying his brother Dane had been killed by a train.

Police in Toronto said a sister had identified the retired welder as the man killed while crossing a GO Train track last Friday.

"The body was badly mutilated," said Gilbert. "We've been mourning in Newfoundland and in Toronto, everywhere. We're in total shock."

But during Thursday's funeral in Toronto, Dane Squires called his daughter Trina to report that he was alive and well.

"They [had] just loaded Dane's body in the hearse and the funeral director comes and says, 'Somebody would like to speak to you on the phone,' and Dane's daughter Trina took the phone," said Gilbert Squires.

"This was Dane on the phone, so she actually thought that she was dead or talking to a ghost or something and just about lost her mind."

Squires said it's not unusual for his brother to visit friends in Toronto for four or five days.

Dane Squires didn't realize there was any problem until he read his own obituary in the newspaper, his brother said. Then he called his sister's house to let her know he was alive, and found out his funeral was underway.

After the accident, Toronto police had appealed to the public to assist them in identifying the body.

A spokesperson, Det.-Const. Dave Stirling, told the Toronto Sun that Squires's sister viewed the victim's body and identified it as that of her brother.

"There must have been a likeness," Stirling said. "It certainly is an unfortunate circumstance. It's certainly a shock."

The accident victim's body has now been returned to the coroner's office and police are again trying to identify him. The dead man was between 45 and 50, with a beard and short, reddish-brown hair.

Gilbert Squires said his brother is taking his "death" with good humour.

"He said, 'I've got a new name. I haven't decided what it's going to be.' And I said, 'What would that be?' And he said, 'I'm either going to call myself Lazarus or Jesus.''"

DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI -- A Michigan police officer resigned after admitting he took marijuana from criminal suspects and baked it into brownies. Corporal Edward Sanchez and his wife ate the brownies and then called 911 and reported they had overdosed, according to police records.

Here is an excerpt from the 911 call.

911: Dearborn Heights emergency...

Sanchez: Can you please send rescue to "bleep". I think I'm having an overdose. and so is my wife.

911: Overdose of what?

Sanchez: Marijuana.

Sanchez: We made brownies. and I think we're dead. I really do.

Sanchez: What's the score in the Red Wings game?

911: I've got no clue, i don't watch the Red Wings.

Sanchez: I just wanted to make sure this isn't some kind of hallucination I'm having.

EMS took both Sanchez and his wife to the hospital where they were released the next morning.

Sanchez was never arrested or prosecuted and that has at least one Dearborn city official unhappy.

City Councilman Doug Thomas has vowed to investigate.

Dearborn police officials said they conducted an investigation.

They declined to comment only saying he resigned before the investigation was over.

Sanchez also did not want to comment.

According to records, Dearborn police never reported the incident to the state agency that certifies police officers.

So, Sanchez could possibly he could get another police job.

Cockroach call at Houston museum
HOUSTON, May. 6 (UPI) -- The Houston Museum of Natural Science has called on Texans to bring in cockroaches for a bounty as part of its preparation for a new insect exhibit.

While offering money for the pests may seem unusual, The Los Angeles Times Sunday said the museum is buying 1,000 cockroaches to stock a new insect exhibit.

Nancy Greig, the museum's curator of entomology. said the institution decided to offer 25 cents per cockroach, rather than attempt to catch the roaches.

"We needed a lot of roaches and didn't have time to collect them all ourselves," Greig said.

One catch though, the elusive insects must still be alive and in good health.

Greig said that while cockroaches have been labeled as unclean, the truth is the insects are remarkably tidy.

"They constantly clean themselves and don't feed on filth," she told the Times. "They're as clean as your house."
